Ninfa Cook
Watch the video here.
Ninfa Cook came to the United States in the 1990s from the Philippines after raising six children. As a former teacher, Ninfa found work in caring for aging seniors and treating them as her own family. Through struggles with breast cancer, she’s found support and connection with NAPCA’s SCSEP participation and her work with seniors.
NAPCA’s SCSEP placements help seniors develop the skills and find placement with community service organizations that benefit from the rich diversity of a lifetime of experience and connection that elders bring to the workforce.
To learn more about NAPCA’s participants you can read more stories. You can also donate now to support the development of job skills and community service through seniors like Ninfa.
