With over twenty years of service to APIs and the community at large, Harris began as a care manager for Elderly Services. Harris took the opportunity to transfer to the Workforce Development program, thus beginning a new career trajectory in employment programs. As NAPCA SCSEP Chicago Project Director, Harris provides connections and oversight to seniors seeking job training opportunities. Harris began his career at NAPCA as a Project Coordinator in the Los Angeles office. Harris believes that mature workers are a viable workforce and providing encouragement to help mature workers build their confidence through professional development is something he feels blessed every day to be a part of.
