Miriam has more than 25 years of non-profit experience serving low-income AAPI individuals, families and mature workers. She believes in an old Chinese saying, “a senior is an asset to a family,” and that mature workers are assets to society. Miriam is an active member of the Asian Pacific Islander Dementia Care Network, and was a member of the Asian Pacific Islander Older Adult Task Force. Miriam also served on the Community Advisory Board of the Chinese American Stroke Prevention/Intervention Research Program of University of California, Los Angeles. (Mandarin/Cantonese/Taishanese)
