In response to COVID-19, NAPCA launched its free 1-800 Multilingual Phone Helpline for older adults and caregivers in March 2020. To date, the Helpline has received over 2,700 calls from 10+ states. NAPCA’s Helpline counselors provide in-language support for COVID-19 related emergency resources, Social Security, Medicare, general public benefits, and assistance with census and election related information. NAPCA’s Helpline was featured by QUARTZ and covered by NBC News.

How to Support NAPCA
Your time, your voice, and your generosity makes everything we do possible
Engage with the older adults in your family and community. How are they, and do they need anything? Check in on those who may be isolated and lonely.
Add us on social media and share our resources and events with your own social circles.
Find an agency that serves older adults in your area and ask if they need volunteer support. Volunteering opportunities will likely be ample in the winter, but check again in January or February. Many agencies need support all year round.
