The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for the position of FOIA Professional with the U.S. EPA Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE).
This position offers a remote schedule of telework, with a 1-2 a week in office presence requirement
Program Qualifications (MUST meet ALL three qualifications listed below):
55 years of age or older (in accordance with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act). For more information: Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program | US EPA

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in program administration, FOIA processing or BA/BS in Public Administration, Business Administration or similar
Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

General Summary:
The individual will recommend, and implement plans and procedures for EPA’s National FOIA Office as requested by management Coordinates office management activities for the organization and manages correspondence, calendars, and communication with the public via email and telephone, including responses to FOIA requests, and evaluates and makes recommendations for effective and efficient organizational change.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Recommends organizational process improvements based on sound data research and analysis.
Research and recommend solutions to administrative issues and office management and recordkeeping.
Analyzes and make budget recommendations and performs recordkeeping management.
Manages the agency’s FOIA mail, email, phone logs, and other correspondence as needed
Performs FOIA response analysis as management, conducts research, and recommends appropriate action.
Other duties as assigned.
