Vanessa Lee
Executive Assistant to the President/CEO
In the spaces Vanessa enters, Vanessa strives to always bring her three guiding principles— community, passion, and growth! Growing up in the resilient San Francisco and Seattle Chinatown communities has taught her, building strong communities with collaboration and unity at the center is essential.
During her time at the University of Washington, she Co-Founded Traditional Chinese Dance at UW, creating space to celebrate cultural heritage through arts. She also had the privilege of serving as Miss Chinese Chamber of Commerce 2022 and interning with the White House Initiative on Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders, further deepening her passion to public service.
Chinatown holds a special place in Vanessa’s heart, as it also largely consists of elders who helped raise her and instill in her the values of community and service. Now, she is beyond grateful to begin her career at the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging, where she is honored to give back to the very community that shaped her.
Vanessa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Foster School of Business and a minor in Dance, graduated in 2024.
