Tim Yuan
SCSEP Case Manager
Tim grew up in Los Angeles after moving to the U.S. from China at a young age. He is passionate about supporting older adults and creating opportunities through education, workforce development, and culturally responsive services.
As an SCSEP Case Manager at NAPCA, Tim works closely with older job seekers, many of whom have limited English proficiency and face barriers to employment. He provides individualized support, helps participants build job readiness skills, and leads a basic computer skills program for monolingual Chinese-speaking seniors to strengthen their digital literacy and confidence.
With a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA and experience working in the nonprofit sector to support underserved communities, he is committed to helping older adults develop practical skills and greater independence.
