General Summary

Perform routine laboratory instrumental analysis, general laboratory and instrument maintenance, preparing samples and solutions for analysis and reporting, sample clean up, logging in and managing laboratory samples.

Qualifications:

• 55 years of age and older (in accordance with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act)

• a US citizen

• be eligible to work in the US

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumental analysis or BA/BS

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Instrument analysis (20%)

• Instrument maintenance (20%)

• Sample and Solution preparation (20%)

• Data Analysis and reporting (20%)

• General lab maintenance, upkeep, sample management, and logging in samples (20%)

• Perform other duties as assigned

Benefits:

This position is in support of a Federally funded Employment Program with a defined hourly rate

Pay: $19.21 per hour
