General Summary

Provides technical laboratory support at the Gulf Coast Science Branch’s Aquatic Research Facility.

Qualifications:

• 55 years of age and older (in accordance with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act)

• a US citizen

• be eligible to work in the US

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biology, aquaculture, and/or animal husbandry or AA in Biology

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance of coral culture systems and experimental test.

• Assist with maintenance of sea urchin cultures and experimental tests

• Assist with QA/QA compliance, data entry, and field work

• Perform other duties as assigned

This position is in support of a Federally funded Employment Program with a defined hourly rate

Pay: $19.21 per hour
